Over the years, SCSH has been lucky to have owned or worked with so many amazing and talented horses
and ponies. While some have passed, others moved on to new homes or careers. Here are just a few of
the horses and ponies we've had the good fortune of working with...and miss dearly!
Justa Bearing (Bear) and Romance Dot Com (Baby Jesus)
Bear was a beautiful TB mare that raced and then was retired as a
broodmare. She produced some amazing TB foals, including our beloved
Romance Dot Com. We lost Bear and Jesus back in 2008, but they will never
be forgotten.
RIP Bear and Jesus - we miss you terribly!
Arctic Cielo
One of the finest stallions we've had the pleasure of owning/handling. A true
rarity, Cielo was always the perfect gentleman. He is one classy stallion, and
while we miss him a great deal at the farm, we look forward to watching him in
the show ring and visit with him when we can at his new farm - Cando Colour
Farm! Good luck Bev - he's a keeper!
Double Deposit (aka Luke Stallwalker)
Words can't express the love I had for this amazing Thoroughbred stallion.
Dee had and will always have a special place in my heart. He could be tough
to deal with at times (he was all man, hehe), but he was perfect in my eyes.
We lost Dee far too soon :( He was just starting his second career (in
dressage) after racing. He will live on in his 'kids', and will never be forgotten.
RIP Baby Dee - until we meet again!
Slabtown Glory
Ohhh Glory...where do I start? Glory was a Standardbred mare off the
racetrack, that produced a couple Stakes babies. She was a pretty moving
little mare, and super athletic...she was also Miss Attitude. Glory was sold
and is now a broodmare for a Standardbred farm, where she produced a
lovely colt this past year. Some of her offspring are still racing locally, so it's
nice to see them at the track when we go visit :)

Smoked Gold
I REALLY miss this one!! He was (and is) truly one of a kind. A handsome
young buckskin Thoroughbred stallion, with a puppy-dog personality. He
was royally bred, an incredible mover and has unlimited potential. The only
reason we sold him was because we shifted our breeding program to focus
more on the Sport Horses and less on the Thoroughbreds, He is now
residing and standing in the US! Would love to catch up with him one day
and I really look forward to watching him in the show ring! If you get the
chance to breed to this young stallion, TAKE IT. You wont regret it!

M & M Show N' Tell
'H', as we affectionately called him, was an amazing little pony. This guy
came in for some training and showing, and he was an absolute delight to
work with! Very smart, and obviously easy on the eyes. He was an old pro
when we trucked him 4 hours to his FIRST show!!! He qualified for the RAWF
and won!!! We're very proud of this little guy! Thank you Megan for allowing
us the opportunity to work with such a talented pony!
K-Oss
K-Oss was a really neat horse to have around. While he was a total escape
artist and a true giant (this horse is massive), he made us all laugh daily. I
really enjoyed starting him under saddle and had a blast doing all his 'firsts'
with him. K-Oss was sold and is now field hunting! We miss you KayKay!
Briarwyn Perri
Perri is an absolutely STUNNING Section A Welsh Pony stallion - there is just
no other way to describe him. While we still own Perri, he is leased out to
Cydermill Farms and is breeding mares and being shown in driving! We
miss having this little guy around, and cant wait until he comes back to us for
his retirement!
